The two co-founders of BTCON have grown as leaders in the crypto market since 2015, navigating its highs and lows in the fields of crypto exchange and media sectors. One began as a PM at Korbit, Korea's first Bitcoin exchange in 2015, and later founded an exchange that obtained a VASP license The other founder led the establishment of CoinDesk Korea in 2017, the first blockchain media outlet in Korea, and served as its first editor-in-chief and CEO, growing it into the number one crypto media in the country. He also founded Digital Asset, another rapidly growing crypto media outlet in Korea.

Looking back, we've supported countless events, seminars, and conferences, working tirelessly alongside the Korean government, policymakers, and industry leaders to make the crypto industry in Korea more secure and robust, ultimately achieving VASP licenses. One evening over dinner, we reflected on our crypto journey. With the Bitcoin narrative emerging stronger than ever, we felt a sense of déjà vu, like we were back at the beginning 10 years ago, but on a much grander scale. It was a no-brainer for us to host a Bitcoin conference in Korea to spearhead this Bitcoin renaissance. We feel invigorated, like we're young again, ready to lead the charge into this exciting new era.

Join us for the next decade of an exciting journey with Bitcoin!
